Last week was another busy one, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I photographed the progress of my master bedroom and posted about it on Friday. There is also an awesome giveaway happening, so don’t miss it!
I also got to shoot the first video for a potential online design series I’ve been working on. I was a bit nervous at first, but I got through it! I think after a few more videos I will get used to being in front of the camera – there were a few minutes where I felt like a deer in headlights though! And like I’ve mentioned before, nothing is “official” yet, so I can’t really spill the details. Hopefully soon though!
I’ve also been documenting a bit more about some of my favorite outfits and posted my second outfit post on Monday. Click here to check it out!
On Monday we got some pretty heavy rain ALL day. Much needed rain to say the least. After working from home and being locked up in the house all day, my weekly trip to Dairy Queen happened a bit earlier in the week than normal. I’ll take one strawberry cheesecake blizzard for me and a reese’s blizzard for the hubby!
And then there was that time Bailey tried to fit in a box. A very small box. Notice the key word here… TRIED.
I also got to attend my niece’s dress rehearsal on Saturday since I won’t be able to attend her dance recital. I was so happy I got to see her perform last weekend! She looked SO adorable in her outfit and loved getting all dressed up. She had such a long day that by 2:00 she was passed out in the back seat of my sister’s car. I couldn’t help myself, I just had to take a snapshot;)
Oh, and I finally designed and ordered some blog business cards. They aren’t really for contact info like normal business cards might be, they’re just mainly to spread the word (locally) about my blog. And who knows, maybe I’ll start working with some Fort Worth companies along the way!
And of course I had to throw in as many Bailey pics as I could. I particularly love this one. We have an entire house to lay around in, yet she chooses to lean up against the hardest thing she can find – a chair leg. Totally normal, right?
