Today’s Going Gold post is yet another SUPER easy project. All you need is a lamp shade, gold craft paint, and a foam brush. You can use a wide or narrow foam brush depending on how large you want your chevron print to be. I used a rather wide brush to create a larger pattern.

For some reason I decided to free hand this project and it actually worked out! I had a few mishaps, but nothing major. It might not be a bad idea to maybe use some tape as a guide, but this is supposed to be an organic approach at a chevron print, so it really doesn’t have to be perfect.

Dab the foam brush into the paint, blot off any access paint on a napkin or paper plate, and press into the shade. I didn’t press very hard because I wanted most of the lines to remain narrow. Repeat this process until you eventually cover the entire shade.  And that’s it! You’re all done:)
